A 27-year-old woman who died after she fell from a moving van in Wakefield has been named by West Yorkshire Police as Leah Senior.
Leah, who lived in Kirklees, died as a result of the injuries she sustained in the incident, which happened on Wednesday.
She fell from a white Transit van between 8:20pm and 8:40pm, said police.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drug driving offences.
A police spokesperson said: “Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or had footage of the incident in the area of Denby Dale Road and Hollin Lane between 8.20pm and 8.40pm or who may have seen the white Transit van just before the incident. Have you seen it there?” ,
“If anyone can assist with the enquiries, they are asked to contact HMET on 101 referencing police log 1604 of January 17.”
